Happen in the life of some character.

Craig Plunkett is the chief engineer and Pilot for Old Gert. Old Gert is a deep-sea submersible which can dive about 5200 meters down. Craig thinks it is the only submersible which can dive so far. When they are nearly at the ground of the sea in 5000 meters at the water surface suddenly an atomic bomb explode. Because water is incompressible the shock wave traveled through the water at roughly 6.500 kilometers per hour in an expanding circle.

Old Gert a bit saved from the shock wave by the nearly canon walls. But the one of the five spheres, the sphere with the electrical and oxygen imploded because the pressure was too big.

I would like that Craig will be rescued because it might not be the only submersible which can dive so deep. And so I hope the change in his life will be that he has once luck and not the same bad luck then the rest of his live.
